Diversions in place after Queensbury traffic lights incident

DIVERSIONS are in place following reports of an incident at Queensbury traffic lights.

The First 576 bus service will divert both directions via Brighouse Road, Halifax Road and Cooper Lane until the road is clear.

First described the incident as an ‘rtc’ – road traffic collision.

For those who are driving, the AA is reporting slow moving traffic in the area.

Speaking on Twitter, a spokesperson for First West Yorkshire said: “We are sorry for any disruption this may cause.”

Yorkshire Air Ambulance was also called out to a field near Station Road in Queensbury – it is unknown at this point whether this is linked to the road traffic collision at the traffic lights.

West Yorkshire Police has been contacted for comment. More to come.
