NETAC 2024 – North East Transactional Analysis Conference, Bradford.

“The Stories of our Lives: Landscapes for Adventures”

The North East Transactional Analysis Conference (NETAC) has been running annually for over 17 years in Yorkshire.  We are delighted to bring the event to Bradford in Yorkshire in September 2024, just before Bradford celebrates Bradford City of Culture 2025.

The event is open to all, regardless of their level of experience or professional background. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or just starting out, if you’re interested in “Transactional Analysis”, this conference is for you.  The event attracts counsellors, therapists, psychotherapists, organisational consultants and educators.  So, from social workers to NHS employees, something here will grab your attention.

This year’s theme is “The Stories of our Lives” and diving into our Life Script, a concept developed by the founder of TA, Eric Berne. Our keynote speaker, Barbara Clarkson, will offer us a fascinating insight into how to examine our personal story and explore “The Landscape for Adventures” of our lives.

What’s the structure of the day?

The event starts with a keynote presentation to the conference, setting the theme and offering a “provocation” for us all to consider.  The morning continues with workshops that will offer delegates the development of their professional skills, new theories, and new ways of working or looking at the world.

Lunch is a two-course buffet, and optional lunchtime activities include yoga, laughter yoga, and movement activities.

The afternoon offers the opportunity to engage with another workshop, and then we move into the final plenary session for the day. Here, our guest speaker for next year attends and rounds off the day, giving a taster of what is to come at the next event.

What’s included?

The ticket price includes bottomless teas, coffees, and biscuit snacks, as well as lunch and the full range of workshops and additional activities.  We would love you to come and join us, and dip your toe into the world of Transactional Analysis.
