Bradford Industrial Museum

Bradford Industrial Museum offers visitors an interesting opportunity to discover Bradford’s industrial heritage. Located at the historic Moorside Mills in Eccleshill, the museum is based in a former worsted spinning mill dating from around 1875.
Visitors can explore permanent displays featuring textile machinery, steam power, engineering innovations and historic motor vehicles. Depending on the day, you may also be able to see working machinery in action and discover traditional skills such as blacksmithing, printing, spinning and weaving through demonstrations by staff and volunteers.
The museum is a particularly interesting destination for anyone wanting to understand the importance of the textile industry and Bradford's role during the Industrial Revolution. The sounds and movement of the working machinery can make the experience especially engaging for families and visitors interested in engineering, transport, technology and local history.
