On This Day: Bradford businesswoman attends reception at 11 Downing Street

The event celebrated the UK’s 5.45 million small businesses and recognised recent winners and finalists of The Small Awards.

Ms Crossley was honoured to be a finalist in the Bricks & Clicks category, marking a significant achievement in the tenth anniversary year of her business.

She expressed her delight, stating: “To be invited to Downing Street in recognition of our achievements as a Small Awards finalist is incredible, and in the tenth anniversary year of our business – it is such an honour!”

In the words of a Clavis & Claustra spokesperson, the business was shortlisted for “having built an exciting brand appealing to rebels of all ages,” and for having grown its network of stockists – which today includes castles, museums, and even the Houses of Parliament gift shop.

The Small Awards is run annually by Small Business Britain, and was supported by marketing solution Constant Contact.
