This is Bradford’s highest-rated restaurant – why it’s hailed the city’s ‘best’

MyLahore located on Great Horton Road, has been praised for its “outstanding” menu items, including the lamb nihari, meat chat starter and dynamite chicken.

The flagship eatery also hails a 4.7/5 rating from more than 3,800 reviews – of those, 3,220 were rated as “excellent” (at the time of publication).

This means it has the highest rating for the most amount of positive reviews when it comes to restaurants in the West Yorkshire area.

MyLahore says it aims to “pass on something positive to those that come after us”.

Its profile on Tripadvisor explains: “MyLahore is rooted in Yorkshire in a world of small kitchens yet huge hearts, where families tuck into everything from samosas to shepherd’s pie, and karahis to cornflake tarts.

“It’s a very British Asian story that just had to be shared! We love to bring people together around great food and vibrant, fulfilling experiences.

“We’re inspired to build on the pioneering migrant spirit of those that journeyed before us, and pass on something positive to those that come after us.”

It adds: “Our menu is famously diverse, with something for everyone, and we just love offering up tastes of adventure as well as culinary strolls down memory lane.

Those who have visited MyLahore have shared plenty of praise in their reviews on Tripadvisor, including for staff member Shaf.

This person wrote: “What a wonderful place. The restaurant is huge, but the staff never forget about us. Food was wonderful and service was immaculate. Thanks to Shaf for being such an incredible host!”

Another complimented: “The best restaurant in Bradford. Great service and food is consistently great. I come here regularly with family and also bring large groups of students from school. They always provide great service and the new items are outstanding, especially the dynamite chicken. Highly recommended.”
